Facilitated by Eric Gerds
Digital video has become more and more important in today’s personal and business environments. You see videos used in blogs, websites, and presentations, just to name a few. The tools available today are amazing and, with a little bit of knowledge, one can turn a simple boring video into one that will grab and hold people’s attention.
This class will cover
basic concepts and tools that are available in all software packages and the philosophy of editing. This class was
designed so that attendees can use the information for whatever software you end up using.
Prof. Gerds teaches the philosophy of the software, not how to push buttons. However, Adobe Premiere Pro was chosen for this workshop because the trial download is free and so that everyone would have the same software for the class.
Learning Objectives:
- How to use Adobe Premier Pro to edit together several clips and to create a new movie from this information.
- How to integrate text and photos into the video.
Video is becoming more and more important, not just for training, but for all internet projects. In the long run, this class will have a larger impact on your future projects than you might think.
Requirements: Your laptop with Adobe Premier Pro installed.
