Abbreviated "How To's"
Have you ever had a client say, "How do I confront a true adversary?" or "How can I improve my relationship with my boss?" We get all types of questions asked from employees. Therefore, I have learned how to train just in time. I offer a simple step by step process in response to their request and then have them practice these steps. It takes about 15 minutes. I call this type of training "abbreviated how to's." For my session, I want to demonstrate a few of these and then have the participants practice creating and conducting their own training based on questions that I've heard over the years.
John is an independent OD consultant. His work includes team building, coaching leaders, improving processes, and redesigning work. Prior to starting his current practice, John spent 10 years as the Director of Organization Development at Mattel, Inc. Before that, he had been an external consultant for more than 20 years, working at Block Petrella Weisbord Inc. in New Jersey, one of the leading OD firms in the United states.
